Is there a list of fasteners, nuts, bolts, and screws used for this equipment? I purchased the plans and cannot find what size of fasteners are used.

Hi Brian I am not able to find closed s hooks like the ones you show on your video. Would s hook with one side slightly open work? Also my wall is cement brick (I am in Europe). I should be able to install the boat cleat on the wall and handle the entire weight of the kayak, right?

Calling 2 phase single phase has never made sense to me. 220 is two hots in the US that is two hot legs, two phase. In europe they do have single phase one hot leg 210 v.

ua-cam.com/video/HvMhNNfx3vU/v-deo.htmlsi=8dFZ-Ge68xjd3rm3 I tweaked this piece able to swivvel 90 degrees which enables me to use me to have the platen sitting at 90 degrees and the true tilt table at any angle when grinding bevels. It just makes it easier to look straight down on top of my work instead of at the 45 degrees. I also made the swivel piece out of 10mm steel which helped with table flexing issues and more importantly shifts the 2x2 receiver tube to the left by 5mm giving better clearance to tracking wheel bolts which used to clash. Love my Revolution. Truely great grinder.

Love the Russ piece man shows people what kinda character you have man just found your channel love it . Been welding since Highschool than went to the Marines Reserve out of Omaha NE MOS was 1316 Metal worker . Went to a tech school for welding unfortunately didn't finish got deployed to Iraq in 2009 came back worked for a farm equipment builder orthmans as a welder, they build planter bars and such for John deer and has bars they build that's there own as well . End up getting laid off back 2014 as I was going through my divorce 😂 and than worked for a contractor a close buddy of mine for 6 months holding house from the ground up that honestly was fun . Now I have a awesome job on a class 1 RR as a welding foreman mainly do rail changes and thermite welding . We do weld on what you call frogs there part of your switch component made out of magnesium and other materials use a flex core specific wire to build the point up and wings . Other odds and ends we use stick welding 7018 6011 whatever they get is 😂 when welding crossing or gauge plates in a switch . Keep up the work man love the build hopefully one day I can get that plasma table for my shop . Just started building it up first welder is a Primeweld mig 180 my son I just got done building our welding table from some scrap from our lock weld shop way cheaper than buying a sheet of 3/8 or quarter damn that shit is expensive 🫰 . Turned out good son loves welding even though he knows I'm pushing him into the medical field . Planes on going to the Navy to be a corpman and hopefully ends attached to one of the marine units . Well that's he's hope than once he gets done with his 4 years once to pursue flight nurse. Any who love the channel will be catching up on all your videos . God bless 🔥🔥🔥🔥🤘🤘🤘🤘🇺🇸🇺🇸🇺🇸

  • @nickaschenbecker9882

You kinda destroyed the geometry of the thing, rounding over all the details. Power tools are great because they do things fast. They're also terrible because they screw things up fast. Should've used sanding blocks.

I just pulled my DD-750x out of the box and, in an effort to try something new, I decided to read the instructions. That led me to UA-cam for the manufacturers video and ultimately to here. This is a super hands-on, in the workshop, practical application video! I, too, recently did the math and decided I've spent just about enough on drill bits over the past [insert number] years. Fortunately, like most of the DIYers who have, or will be, watching this, I don't have the inner strength to throw away perfectly dull drill bits - even ones that snapped off just above the drill chuck (no, I won't try sharpening those - but they help tell the story). Anyway, thanks for the boost of confidence, Brian. I'm off to resurrect the contents of my shoebox and prove to myself that it's ok keep some things that appear beyond the help of superglue and duct tape!

I replaced the transom same way you did on my 1987 Bayliner. I used long drill bits to remove most of the wood in the transom along with some large heavy screwdrivers to scrape the old glued on wood from the fiberglass walls. Designed a long hose to reach on down and vacuum out any residual wood and scraps. The transom was as hard as a rock and lasted the rest of the lifetime of that boat which was decades before it was junked. DIY not to hard. Going to redo the transom on my 1983 V20 that I just started worked on.

I've built a couple of grinders down here at the bottom of the world and had them finished off before I found your channel. Wish I'd found it sooner, your video's are awesome thanks. This build looks solid and amazing, very similar to mine, I've never bought your design but refer people to you if they ask about the grinders. People are building them down here in NZ so I've been told. Anyway thanks for all your hard work and content, love your work.

final design is unclear, but, IMHO, it is easier to 3d print multiple pieces, combine them into desired shape of the future "combustion chamber" of the forge, and cast that mulripart piece into refractory.
